Congratulations to team rider
Lucas Foster on his recent accomplishment! Lucas killed it in the WSA West Coast Championships last weekend. He came in 2nd in Under 18 and 3rd in Open Mens Longboard. It was held at Chruches and they were getting ten-second hang tens. Scoring 9.5's in a very exciting final.

This is a new quad-mini which I made for Nick a few months back. He LOVES this stick and just ordered another one for back-up so he won't have any down time! How cool to have such a stoked professional customer who knows what he wants. He's a great exec chef too.

A few of the Murphy Shapes extended family members (Chris "Cabrito" Miller, Jeff "Yeff" Werbelow and Tony "Tortuga" Kendall) returned from a recent trip south of the border - where they got some fun point break and beach break. Water temp 79. Air 85.

Here's a few shots of our team rider Lucas doing his thing at a recent WSA/high school surf contest. Lucas is riding a more traditional style log with a glassed in single-fin - which netted him an appearance in the Finals in small, clean conditions at Church's/Trestles. Way to go Lucas!

When you don't live near the ocean, you must find some water-borne stoke.... one way or another. Our friends Larry Custodio and Troy Miller, from Carbondale - Colorado, have found a use for their Murphy Egg. Wake surfing! Here's a shot of Troy surfing behind Larry's boat on a lake near their house. You have to get those rides in now before Winter comes a knockin. Thanks for the photos guys!
